Here are a few pic's of the bow I made at Steves. It is Hickory backed with Lemonwood belly and a bit of my Yew that has been seasoning in my garage for a while.

Do you feel in a position to try making a bow on your own now ? (Just wondering if after doing the course you can go home and start making your own bows, or is there more to it than that?)
I would like to have a try one day but I am determined not to buy any more bows for a while now ;-) Maybe a Yew bow next but this I suspect is not a good idea for a first bow ?

Thanks for the replys guys. Alan in answer Yes I deffinately want to start making my own now. There is some stuff to buy, ie scales etc and I don't expect the first one I make to come out to the standard that this one did but you gotta start somewhere.

Better than I do...
Seriously tho' it's very nice to shoot, I'm hitting about 140yds with my J/H Challenge arrow. I know that's fairly short in comparrison to others but that's down to my technique. I'm gettin there tho, had a good shoot tonight (in between the raindrops) Thanks Steve.
